We are making a difference every day in Philadelphia
NewCourtland is a mission-driven organization that provides high-quality health, housing, and social services to seniors and other individuals, including veterans and at-risk groups experiencing homelessness. Currently, our programs and services reach over 8,000 disadvantaged individuals in Philadelphia. We also actively engage in hands-on volunteer work. Our activities include providing meals to food pantries, organizing coat drives, and participating in community gardening. Whether through financial support or direct involvement, we are inspired by the power of human connection.
In recent years, NewCourtland has cultivated a learning culture focused on demonstrating and promoting sustainable solutions to society’s most pressing needs, supported by measurable outcomes. Our programs are designed to reflect our commitment to positively impacting societal priorities.

Housing with Supportive Services
This initiative targets persons who are medically-complex and homeless and who have been relying on costly and ineffective services to address their health and social needs.

The Tower at Henry Avenue
Our intent for this inclusive housing model is to leverage the resources of an asset-rich community and seek ways to equitably spread the positive benefits of revitalization by meeting the needs of a diverse tenant base (low-income seniors, those with disabilities, and market-rate) without government subsidy.

Supporting Caregivers
We have identified multiple ways to enhance the lives of family caregivers across the nation and to evaluate promising interventions locally.
Our Community Partners
Together with our community partners, we are making our vision a reality. We welcome organizations across Philadelphia, within all types of communities, to reach out with the same goal in common—to create change. Below is a list of engaged community partnerships that help support our mission:
