Santa, the 14th Police District, and Senior Citizens Team Up to Bring Joy (and Presents) to Local Children

What: On December 15, the Philadelphia Police Department’s 14th District will welcome students from local elementary schools for an annual holiday celebration. Up to 100 children from William Rowen Elementary, Samuel Pennypacker Elementary, and the Mary Moragne Shule Center will join nursing home residents from NewCourtland Germantown Home for the festivities. Magicians, face painters, and clowns will be onsite to entertain the crowd in preparation for a special appearance by Santa Claus at 1:00 p.m. Germantown Home residents will work with 14th District Officers and Santa to provide gifts to every child in attendance.
