NewCourtland celebrated the opening of its Fourth Annual “Art is Ageless” exhibit June 14th with an exciting reception at NewCourtland Education Center from 4-6 pm.  The FREE exhibit will be on display Monday-Friday from 12 – 5 p.m., through July 21st and showcases the artwork produced during the 2011 NewCourtland Artist Fellowship including that of seniors served by nursing homes now operated by Mid-Atlantic HealthCare.

A premier program of Comfort & Joy™, The NewCourtland Artist Fellowship is an annual arts competition launched in collaboration with The Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA) in 2008 that attracts some of the region’s top artists who vie for the opportunity to facilitate an intergenerational art project that bridges area youth and seniors served by the NewCourtland Network.
